At the age of 19, Jason Vieaux won the Guitar Foundation of America’s International Competition making him one of the youngest stars of the classical guitar world. Jason has been Head of the Guitar Department at the Cleveland Institute of Music since 2001, and in 2011 co-founded the classical guitar department at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music.
As a recording artist Jason has 13 albums to his name, including Play which won a Grammy for Best Classical Instrumental Solo in 2015. Widely recognized as a contemporary modern guitarist who specializes in Spanish and baroque music, Jason continues to perform for audiences worldwide.
